PAYMENT POLICY: Discount, Payment & Cancellation

A. Payment Policy

1. General Payment Terms

All payments for services provided by Travel Asia Holidays Sdn. Bhd. must be made in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) unless otherwise specified. Payments can be made via bank transfer to the following account:

2. Deposit Requirements

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure bookings for all services, including but not limited to:

  • Group Flight Tickets

  • Accommodation Rentals (Room, House, Apartment)

  • Event Management (MICE)

  • Tour Packages & Theme Park e-Tickets

  • Transport Services

The deposit amount varies depending on the service type and will be communicated at the time of booking.


3. Full Payment Deadlines

  • Group Flight Tickets: Full payment must be made 30 days before the departure date.

  • Accommodation Rentals: Full payment is due 14 days before the check-in date.

  • Event Management (MICE): Full payment must be completed 60 days prior to the event date.

  • Tour Packages & Theme Park e-Tickets: Full payment is required 45 days before the tour date.

  • Transport Services: Full payment must be made 7 days before the service date.

Failure to complete full payment by the due date may result in automatic cancellation of the booking.


4. Installment Payments

For certain services, installment payments may be allowed upon request. Installment plans must be agreed upon in writing and must be completed before the final payment deadline.


B. Discount Policy

1. Early Bird Discounts

Travel Asia Holidays Sdn. Bhd. offers early bird discounts for bookings made well in advance:

  • Group Flight Tickets: 5% discount for bookings made 90 days before departure

  • Tour Packages: 10% discount for bookings made 120 days before the tour date

  • Event Management (MICE): 7% discount for bookings confirmed 180 days before the event


2. Group Discounts

Available for group bookings (minimum 10 participants):

  • Group Flight Tickets: 3% discount per person

  • Tour Packages: 5% discount per person

  • Accommodation Rentals: 10% discount for group bookings exceeding 15 rooms


3. Loyalty Discounts

Repeat customers are eligible for loyalty discounts:

  • 5% discount on the second booking

  • 10% discount on the third and subsequent bookings


C. Cancellation Policy

1. General Cancellation Terms

All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to admin@travelasia.com.my. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 14 working days from the date of cancellation approval.


2. Refund Policy

Group Flight Tickets > 60 days 80% of total payment
  30 – 60 days 50% of total payment
  < 30 days No refund
Accommodation Rentals > 30 days 100% of total payment
  14 – 30 days 50% of total payment
  < 14 days No refund
Event Management (MICE) > 90 days 100% of total payment
  60 – 90 days 70% of total payment
  < 60 days No refund
Tour Packages & Theme Park e-Tickets > 60 days 100% of total payment
  30 – 60 days 50% of total payment
  < 30 days No refund
Transport Services > 7 days 100% of total payment
  3 – 7 days 50% of total payment
  < 3 days No refund

3. Force Majeure

In the event of natural disasters, pandemics, or other force majeure events, customers will be entitled to a full refund or the option to reschedule without additional charges.


D. Modification Policy

1. Date Changes

Changes to travel or event dates are subject to availability and may incur additional fees:

  • Group Flight Tickets: RM 100 per person (changes made 30 days before departure)

  • Tour Packages: RM 150 per person (changes made 45 days before tour date)

  • Accommodation Rentals: RM 50 per booking (changes made 14 days before check-in)


2. Service Upgrades

Upgrades to higher-tier services (e.g., flight class, accommodation type) are allowed, subject to availability and payment of the price difference.

 


E. Disclaimer

This Payment, Discount, and Cancellation Policy is subject to the terms and conditions of Travel Asia Holidays Sdn. Bhd. The company reserves the right to amend or update this policy at any time without prior notice.

By making any payment, customers acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by the company’s terms and conditions, as well as any applicable tax laws and regulations.
