  • The name on the pass must match the name on the passport
  • Free admission for children ages 5 and below, must not occupy a seat and must be accompanied by a parent, proof of age (passport) is required
  • Children ages 6 to 15 can travel for free with the Swiss Family Card but are required to occupy a seat and be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. One document is issued per child. Seat reservations are an extra cost

For users who watch videos online for a long time or download large files or games, the telecommunications company may slow down the connection speed or cut it off entirely. In this case, no refunds or compensation will be provided
      

      How to Use

      [Seat Reservation]

      • Seat reservation is not required as all seats are non-reserved
      • Reservations are required for express trains, sightseeing trains, sleepover trains, and other applicable trains. Travelers may make reservations up to 3 months in advance
      • Please use the Rail Planner app to find details on reservations. Tap More (at the lower right corner) and select Rail Network Guides
      • If you would like to make a seat reservation, please go to an applicable ticket counter in the eligible train station to do so and pay the handling fees

      [Swiss Travel Pass Activation]

      • A PDF document will be attached to your voucher (Consecutive Days package), the PDF document will be the valid ticket for you to use. Manual activation will not be required, please print out the PDF file (A4 paper) and carry it with you at all times
      • The PDF document attached to a non-consecutive days package is not the ticket, please consider before booking
      • Enter the Reference Number, First Name, Last Name, and Birthdate on this website
      • Select your preferred date of use. With every date selected, you will receive a corresponding ticket file, please print out the files (A4 paper) and carry them with you at all times
      • You may cancel a selected date at least 1 day prior before 11:59 pm, please note that cancellation requests are not acceptable after 12:00 am

      [How to Install eSIM]

      • iOS: Setting > Mobile Data > Add eSIM > Scan QR code > Add the eSIM data plan
      • Android: Setting > Connection > SIM Card Manager > Add eSIM > Scan QR code
      • eSIM APN: Usually APN will be set up automatically, if not, please set up manually (please inquire customer service the APN of your location)

      Validity
